Who is behind Grammarhaus? What are your qualifications?

At present, Grammarhaus is a project which is solely managed by me, Marco. I grew up in Germany and moved to London in 2015, where I’ve been working in the language business ever since.

After 7 years’ of language-related roles, I decided to get qualified, so in late 2022 I took part in the very first session of the Certificate in Translation, which is a professional qualification equal in level to a BA (Hons) awarded by CIOL (Chartered Institute of Linguists).

After waiting patiently for 12 weeks, I have been notified of the results: I was awarded either Merit or Distinction in all units of the qualification.

Why do you use “we” instead of “I”?

I love the prospect of scalability. Grammarhaus will conquer the world one day…

Can I apply to be a part of the team or work as a contractor?

I genuinely love your endeavour. At the moment there is no room for further team members, so this is a no.
